Rise & Recliner Chairs

Comfort, support and a little extra help
Our range of rise and recline chairs is designed to provide comfort, support and powered assistance when sitting down, standing up or relaxing at home.
We have a selection of chairs available on our shop floor to try, with different styles, sizes and operating options to suit different needs. We can also order a wide range of chairs in different fabrics, sizes and configurations.
Choose Your Motor Option
Rise and recline chairs are available with different motor systems, giving you different levels of control over the chair's movement.
Single Motor

A straightforward option where the footrest and backrest work together, controlled using an easy-to-use handset. The chair provides powered assistance when raising the footrest, reclining and returning to its sitting position.
Dual Motor

Dual motor chairs allow the backrest and footrest to be adjusted independently, giving you greater control over your seating position and allowing you to find a position that feels comfortable for you.
Finding the Right Size
Getting the right size can make a real difference to how comfortable a rise and recline chair feels.
Many chairs are available in four different sizes:

Petite · Small · Standard · Royale
The right size isn't simply about whether the chair will fit into your room. Seat height, width and depth all affect how you sit in the chair and how well your legs and feet are supported.
Our team can talk you through the different sizes available and, where possible, let you try different chairs in the shop.
Comfort & Support Options
Some chairs can be specified with additional features to make the seating position more adjustable.

Adjustable Lumbar Support
Selected chairs can be fitted with optional lumbar adjustment. Additional controls allow the level of lower-back support to be increased or reduced to help you find a comfortable position.

Adjustable Head Support
On selected models, an optional head tilt allows the head section to be adjusted independently, giving you more flexibility when sitting upright or reclining.
