Specialist Chairs
Seating designed around individual needs
Finding a comfortable chair isn't always as simple as choosing a standard armchair. Some people need additional support, positioning or specialist cushioning to sit comfortably for longer periods.
At The Care Shop Dumfries, we can source specialist seating from trusted suppliers, including Repose Furniture, with options that can be configured around individual requirements.
Our Specialist Seating Range
Take a look through some of the specialist seating options available through The Care Shop Dumfries.
Different chairs offer different levels of support, positioning and adjustment, so if you see a style that interests you, speak to the team and we can talk you through the options available.
Specialist Seating Measuring Service
For customers who require a more bespoke seating solution, we can provide a specialist measuring service.
A member of our team can visit you or your family member at home to discuss your requirements and take the measurements needed for a bespoke specialist chair.
This allows us to look at the individual rather than simply choosing a standard chair size, helping us work with our specialist seating suppliers to develop a chair configured around the person's measurements and requirements.
If you think a bespoke specialist chair may be suitable, get in touch with the team to discuss arranging a home visit.
Finding the Right Solution
We understand that choosing specialist seating can feel a little daunting. The team can talk through the options available, explain the differences between chairs and help you understand what may be suitable for your requirements.
Where necessary, we can also work with our specialist seating suppliers to help develop a more personalised solution.
