The Alerta Ruby 2 is a replacement alternating pressure-relieving mattress system designed for users at very high risk of developing pressure ulcers. It combines cell-on-cell air cells with a static base section and has an in-use height of 8 inches. The system has simple settings and functionality, allowing the mattress to be set up and adjusted to an appropriate operating pressure for the individual user.
